
EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) will hold the presentation of the vision, mission, and work programs of the four rectorial candidates for the 2026–2030 term on Thursday, July 30, 2026, beginning at 8:00 a.m. WIB. The event will take place at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium, 4th Floor, UPNVJ Pondok Labu Campus, South Jakarta, and will be livestreamed via UPNVJ’s official YouTube channel.
The presentation of the candidates’ vision, mission, and work programs is a key stage in the selection process for the UPNVJ Rector for the 2026–2030 term. The forum provides each candidate with the opportunity to present their ideas, policy directions, and strategic plans for the university’s development over the next four years.
Through these presentations, the UPNVJ Senate and the university community will gain a comprehensive understanding of each candidate’s leadership capacity, program priorities, and commitment to advancing education, research, community engagement, institutional governance, and human resource development.
Previously, the UPNVJ Rector Selection Committee conducted an open draw to determine the candidates’ ballot numbers. The candidates are as follows:

Each candidate is expected to present measurable and relevant programs that address the challenges facing higher education. Key strategic issues include enhancing the quality of teaching and learning, strengthening research and innovation, expanding national and international partnerships, accelerating digital transformation, improving graduate competitiveness, developing campus infrastructure, and reinforcing UPNVJ’s identity as the State Defense Campus.
The presentations will also provide an opportunity for the candidates to outline their strategies for institutional transformation and effective, transparent, and accountable university governance. Their proposed initiatives are expected to respond to developments in science and technology, meet evolving societal needs, and further strengthen UPNVJ’s contribution to national development.
UPNVJ remains committed to conducting every stage of the 2026–2030 Rector Election in a professional, objective, transparent, and accountable manner, in accordance with the principles of good university governance.
