EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemendiktisaintek) held the inauguration ceremony for Administrative and Functional Officials within the ministry on Monday (11 May 2026). During the event, Fauzan, S.Sos., M.Si. was officially inaugurated as the Head of the General Affairs Division of the Faculty of Medicine at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ).
This inauguration forms part of the ministry’s efforts to strengthen institutional governance and improve the quality of administrative services within higher education institutions. The appointment of competent administrative officials is expected to enhance the effectiveness of both academic and non-academic services, particularly within the Faculty of Medicine at UPNVJ.
The inauguration ceremony was also attended by the Rector of UPNVJ, Prof. Anter Venus, along with the Head of the Bureau of Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Cooperation of UPNVJ, Dr. Asropi, as a form of institutional support for the newly inaugurated official. The presence of the university leadership reflects UPNVJ’s commitment to strengthening professional, adaptive, and service-oriented organizational governance.
As an integral part of the university’s administrative system, the Head of the General Affairs Division holds a strategic role in supporting the smooth operation of the faculty, ranging from administrative management and human resource services to the coordination of facilities and infrastructure needs. Through this appointment, the quality of internal services within the Faculty of Medicine at UPNVJ is expected to become more optimal and responsive to the needs of the academic community.
Prof. Venus emphasized that strengthening human resources and institutional governance remains one of the university’s primary priorities in supporting the transformation of higher education. According to him, the professionalism of administrative officials plays a significant role in establishing an effective, accountable service system that supports the achievement of institutional goals.
