EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) organized the Impact Campus Internship Gathering for the second semester of the 2026 fiscal year at the FISIP Auditorium on Monday, June 22, 2026. The event was designed to strengthen networking among internship partners while fostering closer relationships between FISIP UPNVJ and organizations that provide internship opportunities for students through the Impact Internship Program.

The gathering commenced with opening remarks by the Vice Dean of FISIP UPNVJ, Musa Maliki, who expressed his hope that the event would further strengthen institutional ties with partner organizations.

“We hope this gathering will further enhance the partnership between FISIP and our internship partners. We always welcome your feedback and expectations so that we can continue improving our collaboration,” said Musa Maliki.

The program continued with presentations from participating partner institutions, each introducing their organizational profiles and internship opportunities. The participating organizations included the Jakarta General Elections Commission (KPU DKI Jakarta), represented by Fikri Errydian Syahidi, Head of Public Relations and Human Resources; the United Nations Global Compact, represented by Mita Listya, Manager of the IGCN Academy; the Jakarta National and Political Unity Agency (Badan Kesbangpol DKI Jakarta), represented by Bastian Widyatama, Internship Coordinator; the Association for Elections and Democracy (Perludem), represented by Ajid Fuad Muzaki, Program Officer; Indodata, represented by Marina Mutiara Miraswati, Director of Communications and Information; Suara.com, represented by Popi Puspitasari, HRD and General Affairs Manager; and Jawa Pos, represented by Edy Pramana, Editor-in-Chief.

As one of FISIP UPNVJ’s key partners, the Jakarta General Elections Commission emphasized that its internship collaboration with UPNVJ represents a mutually beneficial partnership that creates positive value for all parties involved.

“With each implementation period, we expect this internship program to provide meaningful benefits, practical experience, and broader knowledge, particularly in the field of electoral affairs. Looking ahead, we hope UPNVJ students will continue making greater contributions to supporting the duties of the Jakarta Provincial General Elections Commission while adapting to the evolving demands of each electoral period,” said Fikri Errydian Syahidi.

Meanwhile, representatives from the Jakarta National and Political Unity Agency encouraged UPNVJ students to demonstrate greater innovation during their internships.

“UPN Veteran Jakarta interns have performed very well, and their numbers have been significant. However, given that the internship lasts four to six months, we encourage FISIP students to develop innovative initiatives within their respective internship placements,” said Bastian Widyatama.

Representatives from Suara.com also highlighted that the company offers internship programs that serve as a talent pipeline for future employment opportunities.

“Our internship program involves students directly in every stage of the production process, from pre-production to post-production. We have been very satisfied with the performance of UPN Veteran Jakarta students, although improving work speed remains an area for further development,” concluded Popi Puspitasari.(www.upnvj.ac.id)
