EduAsiaNews, Lampung – Indriyani Talitha Putri, a Computer Science undergraduate student at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Lampung (Unila) and a member of the university’s Karate Student Activity Unit (UKM Karate Unila), won a bronze medal in the karate competition at the 2026 Lampung Student Olympic.
For the tournament, UKM Karate Unila fielded two athletes as its official representatives. Among them, Indriyani Talitha Putri secured a bronze medal through a determined and spirited performance.
Although several other Unila students also participated in the same championship, they competed under different contingents. Therefore, this achievement specifically represents the success of an athlete officially representing UKM Karate Unila.
The accomplishment serves as a strong source of motivation after Indriyani narrowly missed the podium at the 2026 National Police Chief’s Karate Cup Championship, held at GOR Nambo Jaya in Tangerang City.
That experience has become a valuable foundation for further developing both her technical skills and competitive mindset. Indriyani and her fellow UKM Karate Unila athletes are now preparing for the Pringsewu Cup IV 2026, which will serve as one of the qualifying events for the 2026 Lampung Provincial Sports Week (Porprov).
Through consistent training and unwavering determination, they aim to achieve even greater success and continue bringing pride to Universitas Lampung in future competitions.
