EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – A student from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) has once again achieved international recognition. The Veteran Mindcore team, represented by Atika Adira Deslita, a 2024 cohort student of the Information Science Study Program, secured Third Place in the International Trade Business Case Competition at EXVORA 2026, organized by Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS).
The competition, held on Wednesday–Thursday, June 24–25, 2026, is an annual event organized by the Student Association of Trade Management, Vocational School, Universitas Sebelas Maret.
Carrying the theme, “Addressing Export Challenges through Adaptive and Innovative Strategies amid Global Geopolitical Uncertainty,” EXVORA UNS 2026 challenged participants to formulate adaptive international trade strategies in response to the uncertainties of the global geopolitical landscape.
The competition attracted 16 teams representing 11 universities across Indonesia, making it one of the country’s most competitive international trade case competitions of the year.
During the selection process, the Veteran Mindcore team advanced through two main stages. The semifinal round consisted of a Quizizz-based assessment, while the final round required participants to develop solutions to a case study focusing on contemporary international trade issues.
In the final stage, shortlisted teams were required to deliver a live pitching presentation before a panel of judges at Universitas Sebelas Maret in Surakarta. Reflecting on the achievement, Atika Adira Deslita expressed her gratitude and pride.
“I am truly happy to have advanced to the final round and to have the opportunity to compete in person at UNS. This was my first time reaching a competition final, and I am grateful that our team was able to win Third Place,” said Atika.
The achievement of the Veteran Mindcore team is expected to inspire other FISIP UPNVJ students to actively participate in academic competitions and continuously develop their competencies through national and international scholarly events.
FISIP UPNVJ extends its highest appreciation to all students who have achieved outstanding accomplishments and brought pride to the university. The faculty hopes that similar achievements will continue to be attained in future competitions.(www.upnvj.ac.id)
