Meanwhile, the Chair of the UBB Joint Qurban Slaughter Committee, Muhammad Rozani, stated that 2026 saw a significant increase in the number of sacrificial animals contributed by shahibul qurban (donors of sacrificial animals). A total of seven cows and five goats were slaughtered during this year’s Eid al-Adha celebrations.

“Alhamdulillah, the number of sacrificial animals has increased significantly this year. Should there be any donors wishing to contribute cows or goats, UBB is ready to assist with the entire process, from slaughtering to distribution,” Rozani said.

He also expressed his hope that all shahibul qurban would continue to be blessed with abundant sustenance and prosperity.

The qurban meat will be distributed to those in need, campus support staff, and members of the academic community as part of the spirit of sharing and compassion that characterizes Eid al-Adha.

Through this occasion, UBB hopes that the strong relationship and collaboration between the Bangka Belitung Islands Regional Police and the higher education sector will continue to flourish in support of regional development, human resource advancement, and community-based social initiatives.
