
EduAsiaNews, Semarang – The delegation from Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) achieved remarkable success after being crowned the Grand Champion in the prestigious national competition, Ignite Future Fest 2026. The competition was organized by UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung and reached its final stage on Saturday, April 4, 2026.
In the competition, the UNDIP delegation team, supervised by Sigit Munandar, M.Ak., successfully secured a total of 15 awards across various competition categories, ranging from Essay to Business Plan. This achievement further strengthens UNDIP’s position as a university excelling in research, innovation, and the development of interdisciplinary solutions.

One of the delegation representatives stated that this achievement was an extraordinary experience, as they had to compete against many leading universities across Indonesia. Strong teamwork became the key factor in formulating innovative ideas presented during the competition.
“This competition became a valuable platform for us to test how far our innovations could provide real solutions for society. From the research process to the presentation stage, we learned a great deal about time management, interdisciplinary collaboration, and how to present ideas persuasively,” the representative explained.
The representative also expressed hope that this achievement would motivate other UNDIP students to remain active in competitions and continue producing outstanding work at both national and international levels. “We hope this spirit of innovation will continue to thrive, and that in the future we can contribute even more significantly to the university and the nation,” they added.
The journey toward achieving the Grand Champion title was certainly not instant. It required thorough preparation, intensive guidance from supervising lecturers, and strong commitment from all team members to deliver their best performance. This success also demonstrates the academic excellence and competitiveness of Universitas Diponegoro students across various fields of study.
The achievement of the Universitas Diponegoro delegation as the Grand Champion of Ignite Future Fest 2026 serves as clear evidence that UNDIP students are capable of delivering innovative, collaborative, and competitive ideas at the national level.
