Pulp and Paper Study Program Celebrates Achievement of Excellent Accreditation

EduAsiaNews, Riau — The Pulp and Paper Study Program of Universitas Riau held a thanksgiving celebration on Thursday (May 7) following its achievement of Excellent Accreditation. The event, which took place at the Multipurpose Hall of the Pulp and Paper Study Program, was attended by leaders from the Faculty of Engineering, university officials, and collaborative partners who have continuously supported the development of the program.

The celebration served as an expression of gratitude and appreciation for the hard work of the entire academic community of the Pulp and Paper Study Program in improving the quality of education, research, and community service, ultimately leading to the achievement of Excellent Accreditation status.

Representing the Rector, Mexsasai Indra attended the event. In his remarks, he expressed appreciation for the accomplishment achieved by the Pulp and Paper Study Program and hoped that the achievement would continue to be maintained and enhanced in the future.

“Excellent Accreditation is concrete evidence of the commitment of the entire academic community in maintaining the quality of higher education. We hope that the Pulp and Paper Study Program will continue to develop into a study program capable of competing at both national and international levels, while further strengthening collaboration with industry and strategic partners,” stated Mexsasai Indra.

In addition to university and Faculty of Engineering leaders, the event was also attended by executives from PT RAPP
, a collaborative partner of the Pulp and Paper Study Program that has consistently contributed to supporting academic activities and student competency development.

Meanwhile, the Coordinator of the Pulp and Paper Study Program, Evelyn, expressed gratitude and appreciation to all parties who had supported the accreditation process and contributed to achieving the best possible outcome.

“This achievement does not belong solely to the study program, but is the result of the collective efforts of lecturers, educational staff, students, alumni, and industry partners who have continuously provided support. We hope this Excellent Accreditation achievement will serve as motivation to further improve the quality of educational services and produce competent graduates who are ready to face industry challenges,” said Evelyn.
