
EduAsiaNews, Jakarta — Public Relations of Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) — Representatives of Student Organizations (Ormawa) and Faculty-Level Student Government Organizations (Opmawa) of Universitas Negeri Jakarta attended the Inauguration and National Working Meeting (Rakernas) of the Central Board of the IKA UNJ for the 2026–2030 term, held under the theme “Alumni Synergy for the Nation.” The event took place on Friday, April 24, 2026, at the Puri Agung Convention Hall, Hotel Grand Sahid Sudirman.
The presence of student representatives reflected tangible support for strengthening synergy between alumni and the academic community of UNJ. On this occasion, Ormawa and Opmawa UNJ participated not merely as invitees, but as integral components of the campus ecosystem, carrying forward values of solidarity, leadership, and meaningful contribution to society.
The inauguration and Rakernas served as a strategic platform to formulate policy directions and future work programs for IKA UNJ. With the appointment of the new board for the 2026–2030 period, the association is expected to become more cohesive in strengthening alumni networks and actively contributing to the advancement of the university.
On this occasion, Yasep Setiakarnawijaya, Director of Student Affairs and Alumni of UNJ, stated that the participation of Ormawa and Opmawa is also expected to foster closer relations between students and alumni, while opening opportunities for sustainable collaboration in academic development, career advancement, and community service.
Through this cross-generational engagement, Universitas Negeri Jakarta reaffirmed its commitment as an impactful university—one that not only produces high-quality graduates but also builds strong networks between students and alumni for shared progress.
