The event, held in the Senate Meeting Room on the third floor of UNTAN’s Rectorate Building in Pontianak, was opened by Prof. Dr. Sulistyarini, M.Si., head of UNTAN’s Institute for Educational Development and Quality Assurance (LP2MP).

The workshop, held from 9 a.m. to noon Western Indonesia Time (WIB), aimed to improve participants’ understanding and optimize the management and updating of data on UNTAN’s Key Performance Indicators (IKU) Data Portal.

The IKU Data Portal workshop was organized to strengthen data managers’ understanding of the importance of managing and updating university performance information. Accurate and up-to-date data are essential for monitoring, evaluation and measuring the university’s institutional performance.

The event involved university leaders, administrative staff and administrators responsible for data management across UNTAN. Participants, particularly data administrators, were asked to bring laptops to facilitate the technical guidance sessions.

Through the workshop, participants are expected to improve their ability to use the IKU Data Portal and optimize data management and updating processes in line with the university’s needs. Collaboration among work units is also expected to support the availability of more structured and integrated performance data.

Optimizing the IKU Data Portal is part of UNTAN’s commitment to strengthening data governance and improving institutional quality. Effective data management is expected to enable the university to evaluate its performance more systematically while supporting planning and decision-making aimed at improving the quality of higher education.

Through the 2026 IKU Data Portal technical guidance workshop, UNTAN continues to encourage the active involvement of all relevant stakeholders in establishing high-quality data governance as part of its ongoing efforts to improve institutional quality.
