FISIP Vice Deans Emphasize Student Organization Cadre Development and Collaboration in the 2026 Joint Socialization with BEM FISIP

EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ), in collaboration with the Student Executive Board (BEM) of FISIP UPNVJ, आयोजित the Inspira Space event on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the Auditorium of the M. Yamin Building, FISIP UPNVJ. The event carried the theme “Optimizing a Professional and Accountable Administrative System for Student Organizations” as part of efforts to strengthen the governance of student organizations within FISIP.

The event began with participant registration, an opening by the master of ceremonies, and the singing of Indonesia Raya and the Bela Negara march. It continued with remarks from the Chief Organizer and the Chair of BEM FISIP UPNVJ, who emphasized the importance of collaboration between student organizations and the faculty in creating an orderly and sustainable administrative system.

In their remarks, the Vice Deans of FISIP UPNVJ highlighted several key points for the future sustainability of student organizations. Musa Maliki, PhD, as Vice Dean III, emphasized the importance of effective communication between the faculty and BEM, the Student Senate, and Student Study Groups (KSM) to achieve efficient and effective outcomes.

Vice Dean I, Dr. Azwar, stated, “A strong organization is born from a solid cadre development process.” Meanwhile, Vice Dean II, Anwar Ilmar, M.IP, stressed “the importance of inter-institutional collaboration by eliminating sectoral ego.”

Furthermore, Anwar underscored that the formulation of work programs should be based on members’ needs (bottom-up), accompanied by a strong understanding of administrative procedures in accordance with the standards applied at FISIP UPNVJ.

The Inspira Space event also featured presentations from faculty leaders and administrative staff on administrative procedures, including correspondence management, facility booking, and financial systems within FISIP. In addition, presentations from student organizations and Student Study Groups (KSM) provided insights into best practices in organizational management.(www.upnvj.ac.id)
