EduAsiaNews, Jakarta — The Rector of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ), Prof. Anter Venus, reaffirmed the University’s commitment to supporting the development of students’ potential, both academically and non-academically, during the 2025 Student Affairs Kaleidoscope event (January 29, 2026). Held at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium, the event served as a moment of reflection on the achievements attained by UPNVJ students throughout 2025.
In his remarks, Prof. Venus stated that UPNVJ students are a selected group with outstanding academic quality.
“Students who study at UPNVJ are intelligent and highly intelligent students,” he said.
Prof. Venus also presented UPNVJ’s achievements in new student admissions. Based on the most recent data received last year, UPNVJ ranked 9th nationally with the highest average UTBK score of 620, demonstrating the University’s strong competitiveness at the national level.
Furthermore, Prof. Venus emphasized that the university experience is not solely oriented toward classroom learning, but also toward optimal personal development. Therefore, the University actively encourages students to grow in both academic and non-academic fields.
UPNVJ, Prof. Venus continued, provides the widest possible opportunities for students to engage in activities and achieve excellence through Student Activity Units (UKM). All UKMs required and desired by students will be facilitated by the University, including opportunities for the establishment of new UKMs.
“Please submit your proposals, and convey whatever is needed for UKM activities to us—we will ensure that they are fulfilled,” he emphasized.
The University is also committed to providing facilities, guidance, and mentoring that enable students to achieve accomplishments at both the national and international levels. On this occasion, Prof. Venus expressed his appreciation to the advisors and administrators of UKMs who have contributed significantly to guiding students toward achievement.
Prof. Venus expressed his hope that the tradition of excellence established by leading UKMs, such as Pencak Silat and Gita Advayatva, will continue to be maintained and serve as an example for other UKMs. According to him, high-achieving student activities also constitute an important component of the University’s overall performance indicators.
In closing his remarks, Prof. Venus invited all UPNVJ students to continue fostering a spirit of unity and achievement.
“Stay motivated, stay united, and keep achieving,” he concluded.(www.upnvj.ac.id)
