EduAsiaNews, Jakarta — Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) has finalized preparations to serve as a testing center for the 2026 Computer-Based Written Examination for the National Selection Test (UTBK-SNBT) through system trials conducted across all campus exam rooms. The trials are intended to ensure that all equipment and procedures operate optimally prior to the official examination. This step reflects UPNVJ’s commitment to supporting a transparent, fair, and high-quality national selection process.

The 2026 UTBK-SNBT simulation focused on testing technological infrastructure, including hardware, software, and the stability of internet networks in each exam room. Additionally, human resource readiness was a key consideration, covering exam proctors, technicians, and support teams directly involved in the examination process.

Fajar Nugroho, S.Kom., MP., Coordinator of UPNVJ’s New Student Admissions, stated that all technical aspects had been thoroughly prepared. He emphasized that UPNVJ is committed to providing the highest service standards for participants.

“We ensure comfortable exam rooms, stable internet connectivity, and strict security systems so that the UTBK can proceed smoothly and orderly according to national standards,” he said.

As a 2026 UTBK-SNBT center, UPNVJ has prepared a total of 29 exam rooms supported by 1,020 computer units. These facilities are designed to accommodate the examination efficiently while ensuring participants’ comfort throughout the test.

UPNVJ also implements strict standard operational procedures. These include layered participant identity verification, structured exam session scheduling, and technology-based monitoring systems to maintain exam integrity. All steps are designed to minimize potential issues and ensure the examination is conducted objectively.

Through the trials, potential technical issues can be identified and addressed early. The evaluation of simulation results serves as the basis for system improvements, ensuring that the 2026 UTBK-SNBT at UPNVJ runs optimally and provides a safe and comfortable testing experience for participants from across Indonesia.

Dr. Henry Binsar Hamonangan Sitorus, S.T., M.T., Chair of the UPNVJ UTBK Center, emphasized that this readiness reflects the institution’s efforts to maintain the quality of national higher education services. He noted that UPNVJ’s role as a UTBK center is not only administrative but also strategic in attracting outstanding prospective students.

“UPNVJ remains committed to supporting a credible and integrity-driven national selection system as a foundation for improving the quality of higher education in Indonesia,” he affirmed.(www.upnvj.ac.id)
