EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) has strengthened supervision in the implementation of the 2026 Computer-Based Written Examination for the National Selection Based on Tests (UTBK-SNBT) as part of its efforts to uphold the integrity, credibility, and fairness of the university admissions process. These measures are enforced throughout the official UTBK-SNBT 2026 period, which runs from April 21–30 and May 2, 2026. Monitoring begins as soon as participants arrive at the परीक्षा venue and continues until they enter the examination room.

One of the tightened procedures is the verification of participants’ documents, accompanied by identity validation through facial checks against official identification. This process is conducted before participants enter the examination waiting area to ensure that those उपस्थित are indeed the legitimate holders of the identities they present. This step plays a crucial role in preventing impersonation and other forms of misconduct that could undermine the principles of honesty in the national selection process.

In addition to identity verification, the committee also conducts comprehensive screening of participants, including the use of metal detectors. This measure is intended to anticipate and prevent the use of unauthorized electronic devices or other prohibited tools during the examination. Through these procedures, the organizers aim to create an orderly, secure, and conducive testing environment for all participants.

UPNVJ emphasizes that preventing cheating is not merely a technical measure, but a reflection of the institution’s commitment to supporting an honest, fair, and transparent UTBK-SNBT process. A firm stance against potential violations is expected to maintain public trust in a test-based national selection system that is objective and accountable.

Therefore, all participants are urged to comply with every regulation established by the committee, from bringing valid official documents and following the inspection procedures to refraining from any form of cheating. UPNVJ views the integrity of the examination process as a fundamental foundation for selecting prospective students who not only excel academically but also uphold the values of honesty and responsibility. The advisory for participants to carry official identification and adhere to examination procedures is also in line with UPNVJ’s official announcement regarding UTBK-SNBT 2026.(www.upnvj.ac.id)
