EduAsiaNews, Palangka Raya — Etos ID successfully held the farewell ceremony for Etoser 2022 at the theater room of the PPIIG Building at the University of Palangka Raya in Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan, on Saturday, July 10, 2026.
The ceremony was officially opened by Wijanarka, S.T., M.T., vice rector for student affairs and alumni, and attended by Etoser 2022 and 2023 participants, facilitators, Etos ID Palangka Raya alumni, university representatives, and invited guests from organizations and partner institutions affiliated with Etos ID Palangka Raya.
In his remarks, Wijanarka, accompanied by Palentina, M.Pd., congratulated the graduates and thanked Etos ID for providing scholarships and mentoring to the Etoser 2022 cohort. He also expressed hope that the scholarship program would continue in the coming years.
“I hope the Etos ID scholarship program can be offered again to students at the University of Palangka Raya in 2027,” Wijanarka said.
He also reminded the audience that employers no longer rely solely on grade point averages (GPAs) when recruiting employees. They also consider the Surat Keterangan Pendamping Ijazah (SKPI), or Diploma Supplement, which documents students’ extracurricular activities and engagement throughout their university studies.
“Today, the job market looks not only at GPAs but also at the Diploma Supplement,” Wijanarka said.
Aulia Adirma, an Etos ID facilitator in Palangka Raya, said the farewell ceremony marked not an ending but the beginning of Etoser 2022’s journey toward making meaningful contributions to society.
“This farewell is not the end of everything. Rather, it is the first step for the 2022 cohort to make a broader and more meaningful contribution to society,” Aulia said.
Dwi Nur Fitriani, a representative of Etos ID’s central office and chair of the Etos ID Scholarship program, explained that the nearly four-year mentoring program was designed to develop resilient leaders—individuals who grow stronger through challenges and transform from beneficiaries into people who benefit others.
“One of the goals of the Etos ID program is to ensure that today’s beneficiaries can become people who bring benefits to others in the future,” Dwi said.
Nova Lianti, the outstanding graduate among Etoser 2022 participants and the top graduate of the University of Palangka Raya’s Management Study Program, expressed her gratitude for the guidance and support she had received throughout her years in the Etos ID scholarship program. She agreed that the farewell ceremony was not an ending but the beginning of a new chapter in which participants could contribute by applying what they had learned.
“I agree that this farewell is not the end, but rather the first step toward taking on a role in spreading goodness,” Nova said.
The event also featured congratulatory video messages for Etoser 2022 from several Central Kalimantan figures, including Heru Hidayat and Novanita Puspita Kencana, as well as messages expressing hopes for the future contributions of Etoser 2023.
Etoser 2022 participants also presented a video documenting their personal growth and experiences throughout the Etos ID scholarship program.
The ceremony concluded with a prayer and a group photo involving all participants.
