EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) officially welcomes a new leader. Dr. Sri Yani, SST.FT., Ftr., M.Si., was inaugurated as the Dean of FIKES to serve the remaining term of 2023–2027, until 2027.
This inauguration marks a new mandate for Dr. Sri, previously known as a permanent lecturer in the Physiotherapy Study Program. She has now been entrusted with additional responsibilities as dean, based on the Rector’s Decree (Number to follow).
During the solemn ceremony, Dr. Sri also took the official oath of office. With full sincerity, she recited the oath upon the Al-Qur’an:
“By Allah, I will be loyal and obedient to the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia of 1945 and will implement all laws and regulations with utmost integrity in the service of my duties to the nation and state.”
This moment symbolizes Dr. Sri’s moral and professional commitment to fulfilling her leadership responsibilities within the academic community.
In her remarks, Dr. Sri Yani expressed gratitude to all parties involved in the dean selection process. Accompanied by her husband, she conveyed her strong hope to carry out this mandate with collective support.
“I extend my thanks to the entire committee and everyone who facilitated this selection process so well. I also seek the blessings and support of the entire academic community so that together we can advance FIKES toward greater achievements,” she stated.
With her academic background and experience in physiotherapy, Dr. Sri is expected to bring a collaborative leadership perspective focused on enhancing the quality of education and health services. Her leadership represents a continuation of an academic legacy aimed at strengthening FIKES’ position as a competitive and outstanding faculty.
