EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – The Public Relations Office of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) welcomed a delegation of school leaders and teachers from SMA Islam Terpadu (SMAIT) Multazam on Wednesday (Nov. 4, 2026). Held at the UPNVJ Public Relations Meeting Room, the visit served as a platform for communication between the school and the university, particularly to discuss new student admissions and access to higher education for prospective high school graduates.

The SMAIT Multazam delegation was led by Principal Nina Herlina, accompanied by Vice Principal Yusi Pujiwarastuti, teacher Iis Roisyatul Umah, and guidance and counseling teacher Dedeh Hamidawati.

The delegation was received by Dr. Firdaus, head of UPNVJ’s Public Relations, Integrated Services and Public Information Working Team, along with members of the university’s public relations team.

The meeting focused on the school’s need for information about UPNVJ’s new student admissions, including access to official information sources that could help school staff guide students planning to pursue higher education.

The visit gave school representatives an opportunity to learn more about higher education opportunities while establishing direct communication with UPNVJ. Teachers, particularly guidance and counseling staff, play an important role in helping students explore study program options and prepare their educational plans after graduation.

For UPNVJ, visits from schools are part of its efforts to strengthen public information services and ensure that information is transparent and accessible to the wider community. Direct communication with schools also enables the university to better understand the information needs of prospective students, allowing it to deliver admissions information more effectively and reach the intended audiences.

The meeting is expected to strengthen institutional ties between UPNVJ and SMAIT Multazam while supporting the dissemination of accurate and sustainable information about higher education.

Through its Public Relations, Integrated Services and Public Information Working Team, UPNVJ continues to improve the quality of its public information services for schools, prospective students and parents, as part of its commitment to transparency and easier access to higher education services.(www.upnvj.ac.id)
