EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – Students from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ), have once again achieved recognition at the national level. A team consisting of Joevito Christopher Sinaga, Fathia Sasy Anindhita, and Tabina Ezzah Putri Pulubuhu secured Second Place in the MedClip (Educational Video) category at the MMU X MedsOlympia 2026, organized by the Medical Students Committee for International Affairs (MSCIA) of Universitas Brawijaya. The competition was held from March 6–8, 2026, in Malang, East Java, and was attended by medical students from various universities across Indonesia.
In the competition, the FK UPNVJ team presented a work entitled From Scrolling to Life Saving X SIAGA. The video highlights the use of digital media as an effective, creative, and relevant platform for health education, particularly in line with the digital habits of younger generations. Through a communicative visual approach, the work encourages the public to become more aware and responsive in dealing with medical emergency situations.
This achievement demonstrates the ability of FK UPNVJ students to integrate creativity, digital literacy, and educational health messaging. The MedClip category itself requires participants to produce health education videos that are communicative, evidence-based, and capable of reaching a wide audience through digital platforms.
Representing the team, Joevito Christopher Sinaga expressed gratitude for the achievement. He noted that the process of developing the project provided valuable experience, from conceptualization to video production, which required precision, teamwork, and sensitivity to audience needs.
“We are very grateful for this achievement. The process of producing this video was challenging, from developing the concept to the production stage, but we learned a great deal about the importance of delivering health education in an engaging and easily understandable manner. We hope this work can create a tangible impact and raise public awareness of the importance of preparedness in medical emergency situations,” said Joevito on Friday (April 10, 2026).
This accomplishment further reinforces the commitment of UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine students to continuously deliver innovative health education that adapts to the development of communication technologies. It also serves as motivation for the UPNVJ academic community to continue excelling, creating, and making meaningful contributions to improving public health literacy through creative and impactful approaches.(www.upnvj.ac.id)
