The event was attended by members of the UIN Jakarta Information and Public Relations Center (PIH), including the Head of PIH, Zaenal Muttaqin, S.Th.I., M.Ag., Taufan Maulana Firdaus, S.Pd., Ahmad Fadlan Ramadlan, S.Kom., and Yuyun Yuliana. UIN Jakarta Ambassadors, Egidia Indah Lestari and Nadifa Ambar Faizah, also accompanied the participants.
In his remarks, Zaenal Muttaqin emphasized that UIN Jakarta is a pioneer in integrating Islamic studies with science. “We not only focus on Islamic studies, but also offer general programs such as Medicine, Economics, and Technology, which have now become a reference for other Islamic universities in Indonesia,” he stated. He added that the Faculty of Medicine at UIN Jakarta holds an Excellent accreditation and is supported by comprehensive health infrastructure, including the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Hospital.
Khoirunnisa, S.Pd., Vice Principal for Curriculum at SMA Al-Azhar, explained that the purpose of this educational visit was to provide 11th-grade students with a clear understanding of their prospective study programs, helping them prepare more effectively before entering the 12th grade.
The main presentation was delivered by Taufan Maulana Firdaus, S.Pd., with support from the UIN Jakarta Ambassadors, covering the student admission pathways, including SNBP, SNBT, and the independent track, as well as achievement-based admission for Qur’an memorization of at least 15 juz. The Q&A session revealed high enthusiasm from the students, particularly regarding scholarship opportunities and non-academic achievement tracks.
