EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta will conduct a health screening for prospective new students who have been admitted through the Achievement-Based National Selection (SNBP) pathway for the 2026 intake. The activity is scheduled to take place on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 08:00 to 16:00 WIB at the Medical Education and Research Center building of UPNVJ.

This health screening is a mandatory stage that must be completed by all prospective students as part of the final verification process before officially being admitted as UPNVJ students.

The screening will be carried out according to a schedule based on each study program. The morning session runs from 08:00 to 12:00 WIB, followed by the afternoon session from 13:00 to 16:00 WIB. Participants are strongly advised to attend according to their assigned schedule to avoid long queues.

The procedure begins with queue number collection, followed by payment verification at the finance department, registration, and an initial medical check-up including blood pressure, pulse rate, and body temperature. Participants will then receive a container for a urine test and undergo screening for narcotics and hazardous substances. The next stage involves a medical examination by a doctor, including a color blindness test for applicants to specific study programs, before receiving their test results.

UPNVJ has established several important requirements for this process. Prospective students must bring their SNBP 2026 card, proof of payment, and writing utensils. Prior to the test, participants are also required to register through the official website provided.

The health screening fee is set at IDR 275,000. Additionally, prospective students of the Faculty of Medicine (Undergraduate Medicine, Pharmacy, and Biology programs) are required to pay an extra IDR 25,000 for the color blindness test. Payments can be made via bank teller, ATM, or internet banking through designated banks.

The health screening includes a drug-free test covering six parameters: amphetamine, methamphetamine, cocaine, morphine, marijuana, and benzodiazepine. UPNVJ emphasizes that participants who test positive for narcotics will not be allowed to proceed with the admission process. Meanwhile, those who do not meet the color blindness requirements for certain programs will be given the option to be reassigned to other study programs that do not require such tests.

After completing all stages, participants are required to upload their health screening results through the university’s official website as part of the subsequent administrative process.

Through the implementation of this health screening, UPNVJ aims to ensure that all prospective students are in adequate health condition to participate optimally in the academic process.(www.upnvj.ac.id)
