
EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – Registration for the Computer-Based Written Examination for the National Selection Based on Test (UTBK-SNBT) has officially opened today, March 25, 2026, at 15:00 WIB. Prospective participants are encouraged to promptly complete their registration through the official National Student Admission Selection (SNPMB) portal by following the prescribed procedures.
Under the latest regulations, each participant is required to pay a UTBK fee of Rp200,000 as a prerequisite for participating in the selection. Payment is made after the participant obtains a payment slip through the system, particularly for applicants who are not recipients of the KIP Kuliah scholarship.
Important Schedule for UTBK-SNBT 2026:
SNPMB account registration: January 12 – April 7, 2026
UTBK-SNBT registration: March 25 – April 8, 2026 (15:00 WIB)
UTBK examination period: April 21 – April 30, 2026
SNBT results announcement: May 25, 2026 (15:00 WIB)
UTBK certificate download period: June 2 – July 31, 2026
UTBK-SNBT 2026 Registration Stages:
Log in to the SNPMB portal using a registered account.
Participants must complete their personal data, upload a recent photograph, verify their information, and upload a declaration for visual impairment and/or blindness (if applicable).
Select study programs. Participants choosing programs in the arts and/or sports fields are required to upload a portfolio.
Choose a UTBK test center.
Complete payment of the UTBK registration fee.
Download the UTBK-SNBT participant card.
During the process, participants are given the flexibility to choose study programs at academic or vocational public universities (PTN), with a maximum of four program choices. The order of selected programs reflects the participant’s priority in the selection process.
According to general UTBK-SNBT regulations, participants are only allowed to take the UTBK once. The UTBK result is valid solely for SNBT and public university admissions in the same year. Additionally, students who have already been admitted through the SNBP pathway in 2024, 2025, or 2026 are not eligible to participate in SNBT 2026.
The UTBK-SNBT examination materials include the Scholastic Potential Test (TPS) and the Literacy Test. The TPS covers general reasoning, general knowledge and comprehension, reading and writing comprehension, and quantitative knowledge. Meanwhile, the literacy test consists of Indonesian literacy, English literacy, and mathematical reasoning. The entire examination lasts 195 minutes, or approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes.
