EduAsiaNews, Jakarta — The Faculty of Computer Science at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta has officially declared its Integrity Zone program as a strategic step toward achieving Corruption-Free Area (WBK) and Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Area (WBBM) status. This declaration marks a significant milestone in the university’s efforts to establish more transparent, accountable, and public service-oriented institutional governance.
The declaration ceremony, held on the UPN Veteran Jakarta campus, was attended by the University Rector, Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA.Com, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science Prof. Dr. Ir. Supriyanto, MSc, along with university leadership, faculty representatives, lecturers, and administrative staff.
In his remarks, Rector Anter Venus affirmed that the development of an Integrity Zone is an inseparable part of the bureaucratic reform agenda within higher education institutions. He emphasized that strong institutional governance can only be realized through transparency, the utilization of digital technology, and public services that provide certainty and convenience for the entire academic community.
“The success of the Integrity Zone program does not depend solely on the systems put in place, but also on shifts in mindset and work culture across all levels of the organization,” said Anter Venus.
The Rector also expressed his appreciation to the Faculty of Computer Science for taking concrete steps in implementing the program and for serving as a model for other faculties within the university.
Meanwhile, Dean Supriyanto explained that the Integrity Zone declaration reflects the faculty’s genuine commitment to supporting bureaucratic reform and building a professional work culture grounded in integrity.
As part of this initiative, the faculty introduced a Change Agents Team, which will serve as the primary driving force behind the implementation of the Integrity Zone program. The team is expected to foster the internalization of integrity, discipline, and excellent service values throughout the faculty.
Through this program, the Faculty of Computer Science is committed to creating a more transparent and accountable work environment, while simultaneously improving the quality of academic and administrative services for the entire campus community.
The Integrity Zone declaration forms part of UPN Veteran Jakarta’s broader commitment to strengthening clean, professional, and responsive governance amid the ever-evolving challenges facing higher education. (Source: upnvj.ac.id).(www.upnvj.ac.id)
