EduAsiaNews, Bandung – The Rector of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Tatacipta Dirgantara, delivered a lecture encouraging students to build a champion’s mindset during Ramadan studies held at Al‑Jabbar Mosque ITB Jatinangor Campus on March 1, 2026, and at Ibnu Firnas Mosque ITB Cirebon Campus on March 6, 2026.

In his lecture, Prof. Tata emphasized the importance of developing a champion’s mindset through the integration of education, research, and community service. According to him, students need to cultivate strong character accompanied by empathy, collaborative leadership, and the ability to innovate in order to address the nation’s various challenges.

He also reminded students that a champion’s mindset must be built through clear life planning and strong commitment. “Start with the end in mind,” he said, emphasizing the importance of having clear life goals and meaningful contributions to pursue.

Furthermore, Prof. Tata highlighted several strategies for building a champion’s mindset, including developing long-term plans, maintaining personal commitment, demonstrating perseverance, taking responsibility, and embracing change. Students were also encouraged to recognize their own potential and strengths as preparation for facing future challenges.

According to him, noble values such as excellence, leadership, perseverance, and dedication must continue to be embedded within campus life. These values are expected to shape a generation that excels not only academically but also contributes meaningful impact to society.

Singgah Senja Program

The Singgah Senja program serves as an educational and spiritual ngabuburit space for students and the surrounding community near the ITB Jatinangor Campus before breaking the fast. In addition to attending thematic lectures, participants can enjoy a sense of togetherness through the distribution of free iftar meals provided by the organizers.

This activity is one of the main programs in the series of Ramadan events initiated by Prama (Ramadan Committee) of the Al‑Jabbar Mosque ITB Jatinangor Campus. Carrying the campaigns #RamadhanUltimateChallenge and #BangunKebiasaanWujudkanPerubahan, the program aims to serve as a space for spiritual development while strengthening students’ character during the holy month of Ramadan.

Pasar Gong x Ngabuburit with the Rector

Meanwhile, at the ITB Cirebon Campus, in addition to the Ramadan lecture with the Rector, Pasar Gong was also held—a takjil bazaar participated in by various student associations at the campus. The series of activities continued with a communal iftar and congregational tarawih prayer with the Rector at the Ibnu Firnas Mosque ITB Cirebon Campus.

Pasar Gong x Ngabuburit with the Rector served as a platform to strengthen ties and foster togetherness, care, and collaboration between campus leaders, students, and other members of the academic community.
