EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – Through its Bureau of Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Cooperation (AKK), Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) convened the Signing of the 2026 Performance Agreements (Perjanjian Kinerja/PK) for Heads of Work Teams at Nusantara 1 Room on Monday (2 March 2026). This agenda serves as a strategic instrument to strengthen governance, accountability, and the achievement of performance targets in the areas of academic services, student affairs, and institutional cooperation for the 2026 fiscal year.

The agreements were signed by the Heads of Work Teams within the AKK Bureau as a formal commitment to implementing established work programs and performance indicators. This step addresses the need to reinforce a results-based performance management system, while ensuring that each unit operates in alignment with the university’s vision and mission.

Dr. Asropi, Head of the Bureau of Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Cooperation, emphasized that the Performance Agreement constitutes both a moral and professional commitment that must be realized through tangible outcomes.

“The Performance Agreement is not merely a formality, but a working guideline that must be implemented consistently, measurably, and responsibly. Each Head of Work Team is expected to translate performance targets into programs that have a direct impact on improving academic services, student affairs, and cooperation,” he asserted.

He further noted that 2026 demands enhanced service effectiveness, strengthened cross-unit coordination, and responsiveness to evolving higher education policies. Accordingly, the Head of the AKK Bureau underscored the importance of synergy, innovation, and discipline in executing each agreed-upon work program.

The year 2026 is projected as a momentum for accelerating digital-based service transformation within the AKK environment. The optimization of academic information systems, improvement of stakeholder satisfaction, and achievement of the university’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) constitute top priorities. Therefore, synergy among work teams is deemed essential to ensure that programs are implemented effectively, efficiently, and in a targeted manner.

Through the signing of the 2026 Performance Agreements, UPNVJ reaffirms its commitment to cultivating an adaptive, measurable, and results-oriented work culture. All Heads of Work Teams within the AKK Bureau are expected to carry out their mandates professionally and contribute meaningfully to enhancing the university’s reputation and competitiveness at both national and global levels.(www.upnvj.ac.id)
