EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – The Specialist Doctor Education Program (PPDS) in Radiology, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ), in collaboration with the Gatot Soebroto Central Army Hospital (RSPAD), has once again recorded an outstanding achievement at the national level. At the 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting (Pekan Ilmiah Tahunan/PIT) of the Indonesian Society of Radiology Specialists (PSRII), two residents successfully won 1st Place and 3rd Place in the Scientific Paper category.
The 1st Place award was achieved by dr. Datu Andra Savatra Damadika Sampetoding with a paper entitled “Balancing Benefit and Risk: Safety and Efficacy of Bronchial Artery Embolization for Tuberculosis-Related Hemoptysis: A Systematic Review.”
The 3rd Place award was achieved by dr. Aditya Pratama Lokeswara with a paper entitled “Safety and Efficacy of Transarterial Embolization for Gastrointestinal Bleeding: A Systematic Review.”
This achievement reflects the strong commitment of the Radiology PPDS of the Faculty of Medicine, UPNVJ – RSPAD, to producing evidence-based research in the field of interventional radiology, particularly in the management of tuberculosis-related hemoptysis and gastrointestinal bleeding.
dr. Datu Andra Savatra Damadika Sampetoding stated, “This award is the result of strong teamwork, the guidance of faculty members, and a highly supportive academic environment at the Faculty of Medicine, UPNVJ, and RSPAD.
