Achievements of UPN Veteran Jakarta Medical Students: Two Awards at the IMSTC 2026 Competition

EduAsiaNews, Jakarta — Students of the Faculty of Medicine at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ), who are members of the Asian Medical Students’ Association UPNVJ (AMSA-UPNVJ), successfully won two awards at the Indonesian Medical Students Training Competition (IMSTC) 2026, organized by AMSA–Universitas Brawijaya in early February 2026. This achievement was attained after competing with medical students from various universities across Indonesia.

The awards obtained were as follows:

Second Place in the Scientific Poster Category, awarded to the team consisting of Aisha Aurelia, Maitsaa Yataqi, Alldeisza Di Sasia, and Rafeyfa Alya.

Third Place in the Videography Category, awarded to the team consisting of Anggie Gracetha, Tosan Aji Rifel, Rolan Khriston, and Maria Cahaya.

This achievement reflects the strong commitment of AMSA-UPNVJ students to developing academic competence, creativity, and scientific communication skills, in line with the spirit of the Tri Dharma of higher education and the core values of medical science.

Rafeyfa Alya, a member of the Scientific Poster team, stated, “This achievement is the result of teamwork, dedication, and support from various parties. We hope that this accomplishment will not only be a source of pride for AMSA-UPNVJ, but also motivate other students to continue to be confident in competing and contributing to the development of medical science at the national level” (Monday, February 9, 2026).

This success is expected to serve as a momentum for AMSA-UPNVJ to continue achieving excellence in future academic competitions and to further enhance the reputation of the institution(www.upnvj.ac.id).
