FT UNJ Student Advances to the Grand Final of the West Java Education Ambassador 2026

EduAsiaNews,Jakarta, — Another proud achievement has been attained by a student of Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ). Rangga Anggun Saputra, an undergraduate student of the Applied Bachelor Program in Automation Engineering Technology, Faculty of Engineering (FT), UNJ, has successfully been selected as a Chosen Finalist of the West Java Education Ambassador (DPJB) 2026. In this prestigious event, Rangga represents the City of Bekasi and competes in the Adult Male category.

Rangga’s achievement was officially stipulated through Decree Number 057/YKMDPJB/DPJB-2026/XII/2025, issued by the Yayasan Karya Muda Duta Pendidikan Jawa Barat (YKMDPJB). YKMDPJB is an organization dedicated to fostering youth creativity through advocacy and the strengthening of educational values. Based on this decree, Rangga is declared eligible and obligated to participate in all subsequent stages of the West Java Education Ambassador 2026 selection process in accordance with the regulations set by the organizing committee.

The Grand Final of the West Java Education Ambassador 2026 is scheduled to take place in February 2026 in Bandung, serving as the culmination of the selection process for finalists from various regencies and cities across West Java, who will compete for the title of provincial education ambassador.

On this occasion, Prof. Neneng Siti Silfi Ambarwati, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, UNJ, expressed her appreciation and pride in Rangga’s accomplishment.

“This achievement demonstrates that FT UNJ students excel not only in academic and vocational competencies, but also possess social awareness and leadership in the field of education. We hope that Rangga will serve as a positive representative of UNJ and the City of Bekasi, while also inspiring other young generations,” stated Prof. Neneng.

Meanwhile, Rangga Anggun Saputra expressed his gratitude and commitment to undertaking all stages of the selection process with full responsibility.

“This is both a mandate and a valuable opportunity for me to contribute to educational advocacy, particularly for the younger generation. The support from the Faculty of Engineering and the UNJ academic community serves as a strong motivation for me to give my best performance at the grand final stage, strive for optimal results, and be ready to contribute to the advancement of quality education in West Java,” said Rangga, who is also an awardee of the Bright Scholarship YBM BRILiaN.

UNJ hopes that Rangga Anggun Saputra’s participation in the West Java Education Ambassador 2026 program will further strengthen the role of students as agents of change, while reaffirming the university’s commitment to supporting the development of leadership, character, and meaningful contributions of students to the field of education and the wider community.
