EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES), Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ), conducted the Integrity Zone (ZI) Program online via the Zoom platform as a strategic step toward realizing clean, transparent, and accountable university governance. The activity involved faculty leaders, lecturers, and administrative staff to support bureaucratic reform and a service-oriented work culture that prioritizes excellence for the academic community and the wider public. The briefing aimed to create an environment free from corruption, collusion, and nepotism, with a focus on improving the quality of education, research, and community service in an effective and efficient manner.
Within this agenda, FIKES UPNVJ strengthened leadership commitment through the formulation of internal policies and the implementation of measurable standard operating procedures. The program’s implementation encompasses six main areas of change: change management to support organizational adaptability; governance restructuring to optimize processes; restructuring of the human resource management system to enhance competencies; strengthening performance accountability through periodic evaluations; reinforcing supervision to prevent irregularities; and improving the quality of public services to be more responsive to user needs.
Each area is systematically designed to deliver tangible impacts, such as increased efficiency in administrative services and enhanced budget transparency. This initiative represents FIKES UPNVJ’s commitment to serving as a model in establishing a Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) within the higher education environment in the health sciences sector.(www.upnvj.ac.id)
