EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – The Faculty of Computer Science (FIK) at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) is celebrating another student achievement. Radinka Alifasya Dinova, a student in the university’s Diploma III Information Systems Study Program, won first place in the national-level Valorant esports tournament at DIGITAL (D3 Innovation and Games for Talents) 2026.

The victory was particularly meaningful because Radinka competed alongside her teammates on Team UNIGA, which also comprises Joan Azhim Satyaguna, Rendi Febiant Susanto, Althaf Samala Mojosakti and Alvin Wedia Adi. Together, they demonstrated strong teamwork and secured the championship title.

Team UNIGA from UPNVJ claimed first place, beating Team Vesperruins from Yogyakarta State University, which finished as runner-up. Third place went to Team The Plengers, a joint team comprising students from UPN “Veteran” East Java, Airlangga University, Jember University, the Electronics Engineering Polytechnic Institute of Surabaya (PENS) and Widya Mandala Catholic University.

The achievement in a non-academic field, particularly esports, demonstrates that FIK UPNVJ students are expected not only to excel in technology-related and academic skills but also to develop strategic thinking, agility and a strong competitive edge at the national level.

DIGITAL 2026 is a national competition initiated by the Student Association of the Diploma III Information Systems Study Program (HIMAD3SI) at FIK UPNVJ. Running from July 4 to Aug. 23, 2026, the event was designed to provide a platform for students to showcase their potential through both academic and non-academic competitions, including Valorant.

FIK remains committed to providing opportunities and full support for students to develop their potential across various fields. Radinka Alifasya Dinova’s achievement is expected to mark the beginning of further successes and help raise the profile of FIK UPNVJ on both the national and international stages.(www.upnvj.ac.id)
