EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) organized a briefing session for 398 supervisors of the 2026 Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK) on Monday, April 13, 2026, at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium. This activity was conducted to ensure that all supervisors are fully prepared to carry out their duties during the UTBK implementation, particularly in terms of discipline, technical understanding, and a humanistic approach toward participants.

The Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of UPNVJ, Dr. Henry Binsar Hamonangan Sitorus, delivered the opening remarks to all supervisors. On this occasion, he emphasized the importance of commitment, punctuality, and accuracy in following supervision procedures.

“I expect everyone to demonstrate strong commitment and time discipline. Supervisors must assemble at the main post no later than 05:45 AM WIB. We must ensure that neither supervisors nor participants arrive late. Conduct detailed inspections, the technical aspects of which will be explained further. Please continue to respect and show care for the participants, and carry out all procedures in a humanistic manner,” he stated.

The Coordinator of New Student Admissions at UPNVJ, Fajar Nugroho, then provided technical guidance regarding the implementation of UTBK 2026. He explained that the number of supervisors has increased compared to the previous year, in line with the growing scale of the examination.

“This year, interest in becoming a supervisor has increased. The number of supervisors has reached 398, an addition of 100 compared to last year. In practice, punctual attendance—indeed, arriving earlier—is essential to facilitate our collective work,” said Fajar.

Based on the report presented, the total number of UTBK 2026 participants at UPNVJ has reached 22,428. Each day, the examination will be attended by 2,040 participants, consisting of 410 participants at the UPNVJ Limo location and 1,630 participants at UPNVJ Pondok Labu.

To support the smooth implementation of the examination, UPNVJ has prepared 29 examination rooms across two locations, consisting of 6 rooms at UPNVJ Limo and 23 rooms at UPNVJ Pondok Labu. The readiness of examination rooms, supervisors, and supporting equipment plays a crucial role in maintaining order and comfort throughout the UTBK process.

Through this briefing activity, UPNVJ reaffirms its commitment to conducting the UTBK 2026 in an orderly, professional manner, with a strong focus on quality service. Supervisors are expected not only to perform their duties in accordance with procedures but also to foster a safe, orderly, and humanistic examination environment for all participants.(www.upnvj.ac.id)
