EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ) organized an evaluation session for all student recipients of the Kartu Indonesia Pintar (KIP) Kuliah program as part of its commitment to ensuring the continuity of students’ studies and the proper targeting of educational assistance. The activity was led directly by the Head of the Bureau of Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Cooperation (Biro AKK), Dr. Asropi, S.IP., M.Si.
The event was also attended by the Vice Deans for Academic Affairs, the Vice Deans for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, as well as the KIP-K UPNVJ program advisors. The forum served as an open dialogue platform between the university and KIP-K recipients to discuss various challenges encountered throughout their academic journey.
During the session, students openly shared a range of issues they face within the UPNVJ environment, from academic constraints to non-academic factors affecting their academic performance. The university responded with a solution-oriented approach through constructive and sustainable discussions aimed at identifying practical resolutions.
UPNVJ has established a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) requirement of 3.00 for KIP-Kuliah recipients. This standard serves as a key indicator in maintaining academic quality while ensuring that scholarship beneficiaries are able to perform satisfactorily in their studies.
Through this evaluation initiative, UPNVJ reaffirmed its commitment to providing targeted support for students, particularly those with financial limitations yet strong academic potential. The activity also forms part of the university’s broader efforts to enhance the quality of student services and strengthen the mentorship system for KIP-K recipients on campus.
With the implementation of this evaluation forum, the university hopes to foster stronger synergy between students and university administrators in addressing various challenges, thereby ensuring that the KIP-Kuliah program operates optimally and delivers tangible impact on the academic success of UPNVJ students.(www.upnvj.ac.id)
