Edu Asia New,UNIMALNEWS | Lhokseumawe – The Rector of Malikussaleh University, Prof. Dr. Herman Fithra, ASEAN Eng., personally received assistance from BTN Syariah Lhokseumawe Branch at the Postgraduate Campus, Lancang Garam, Lhokseumawe, on Monday (1 December 2025). The assistance was handed over by the Branch Manager of BTN Syariah Lhokseumawe, Aditya Sujadmiko, accompanied by the Supporting DBM, Yoskarnen.
The assistance comprised 550 packages containing instant noodles, canned milk products, hijabs, T-shirts, bread, and sandals. In addition to these packages, sarongs, prayer mats, blankets, and towels were also provided.
According to the Rector, the assistance from BTN was distributed to communities surrounding the Malikussaleh University campus in Reuleut. Four villages received the aid, namely Reuleut Timur, Reuleut Barat, Cot Keumuneng, and Payah Gabok. In addition to village residents, the assistance was also distributed to students affected by flooding.
“We extend our sincere appreciation to BTN Syariah Lhokseumawe for the assistance provided to Malikussaleh University. This support is truly valuable under the current circumstances,” the Rector stated. He further explained, “We will distribute this assistance to students in stages, as the available supplies are not yet sufficient to reach all those affected.”
