
EduAsiaNews, Lampung – Based on the Rector’s Decree of the University of Lampung (Unila) Number 1038/UN26/PP.06.03/2026, a total of 1,109 students graduated in this fourth graduation period. The graduates consisted of seven doctoral program graduates, 148 master’s degree graduates, 951 undergraduate graduates, and three diploma graduates.
The graduation ceremony commenced with a report delivered by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Unila, Prof. Dr. Eng. Suripto Dwi Yuwono, S.T., M.T.
The Rector of Unila, Prof. Dr. Ir. Lusmeilia Afriani, D.E.A., IPM., ASEAN Eng., extended her congratulations to the graduates and expressed her gratitude and appreciation to all parties involved for their hard work and collaboration in educating students.
“I would like to congratulate the graduates, their parents, and families. I also extend my sincere gratitude and highest appreciation to all academic and administrative staff for their dedication and cooperation in carrying out the responsibility of educating students,” she stated.
She further noted that the graduation ceremony marks a transition in the status of graduates—from students to members of the academic community who bear greater social responsibility.
The knowledge acquired is expected not to remain within the academic sphere alone, but to be translated into tangible contributions to society.
She also added that Unila is currently innovating through the development of the Impactful Campus curriculum and encouraging the implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), which emphasizes measurable outcomes and real-world impact, including through impactful internships and project-based general courses.
In its efforts to enhance quality, Unila continues to demonstrate progress through various achievements, improved national and international rankings, and growing public trust, as reflected in the total number of active students, which reached 40,555 as of March 2025.
To date, Unila has graduated 146,099 alumni from eight faculties and one postgraduate program, all of whom contribute to the nation and the Republic of Indonesia.
Unila hopes that its ongoing efforts to improve the quality of education, strengthen impact-based curricula, and expand partnerships will continue to enhance the quality of its graduates in the future.
With a strong focus on academic excellence, innovative learning, and active student participation, Unila remains optimistic about producing outstanding, competitive graduates with global competitiveness.
