The Rector of UPN Veteran Jakarta, together with the Vice Governor of DKI Jakarta, Presented the KJMU Scholarship

EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – The Rector of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ), Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, M.A., Comm., together with the Vice Governor of DKI Jakarta, H. Rano Karno, S.I.P., participated in the symbolic handover of the Kartu Jakarta Mahasiswa Unggul (KJMU) scholarship during the Orientation Forum for New KJMU Recipients (Phase II) 2025, held at UPN “Veteran” Jakarta on Friday (April 10) at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium.

This event forms part of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government’s efforts to strengthen support for access to higher education for KJMU beneficiary students. The orientation forum also serves as a preparatory platform to equip students with the capacity to pursue their studies optimally, achieve academic excellence, and develop readiness to contribute to society.

The event was attended by the Vice Governor of DKI Jakarta, the Mayor of South Jakarta, heads of regional agencies, the leadership of UPNVJ, as well as distinguished guests from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. The presence of these stakeholders underscores a shared commitment to enhancing the quality of human resources through higher education.

On this occasion, the Rector of UPNVJ expressed his appreciation for the attention and support provided by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to UPNVJ students through the KJMU program. He emphasized that this educational assistance plays a vital role in expanding access to education while encouraging students to maintain academic achievement and successfully complete their studies.

Meanwhile, the Vice Governor of DKI Jakarta affirmed that the KJMU program represents a form of regional government investment in preparing a generation of young people who are उत्कृष्ट, competitive, and capable of making meaningful contributions to development. He expressed hope that KJMU recipients, particularly UPNVJ students, would make the most of this opportunity with a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to continuous self-improvement.

Through this event, the Rector of UPNVJ, Prof. Anter Venus, reiterated his commitment to continuously building strategic collaboration with regional governments and stakeholders in support of improving the quality of higher education.
