EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) held the 2025 Performance Achievement Evaluation and the Dissemination of the 2026 Performance Targets on Wednesday (February 18, 2026) at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium. The event was led directly by the Rector of UPNVJ, Anter Venus, as part of efforts to strengthen governance, performance accountability, and the alignment of the institution’s strategic direction in support of national higher education policies.
The 2025 performance evaluation was conducted through three main instruments: the Rector’s Performance Agreement (PK) achievements, financial management performance as a Public Service Agency State University (PTN BLU), and UPNVJ’s budget performance achievements. In the aspect of the Rector’s Performance Agreement, the evaluation covered four strategic objectives with a total of 11 Key Performance Activity Indicators (IKK).
Based on the evaluation results, UPNVJ’s Key Performance Indicators (IKU) achievement for 2025 was recorded at 59.34 percent. “This result serves as the basis for mapping and adjusting the 2026 IKU, including refinements to nomenclature and the consolidation of several indicators to enhance focus, effectiveness, and measurability of outcomes,” stated the Rector.
He further noted that in terms of financial and budget management, UPNVJ demonstrated very strong performance. The 2025 budget absorption rate reached 95.10 percent. Realization in December showed a significant increase of 31.67 percent compared to November. This achievement reflects the optimization of program and activity implementation throughout the fiscal year, as well as consistent control and accountable acceleration of expenditures.
During the dissemination of the 2026 targets, it was conveyed that the Rector’s Performance Agreement continues to encompass four strategic objectives with 11 IKUs distributed across the areas of talent development, innovation, societal contribution, and governance with integrity. All 2026 IKUs have been cascaded systematically to the faculty, institute, and bureau levels, and will subsequently be translated into individual Employee Performance Targets (SKP) as part of an integrated performance cascading system.
The Rector’s Performance Agreement of UPNVJ was officially signed with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology on January 5, 2025. The establishment of the 2026 performance targets serves as a foundation for strengthening a performance-based management system aligned with national policy and its implementation at the university level.
The Rector of UPNVJ, Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, M.A., Comm., emphasized that evaluation is not merely about reviewing numerical achievements, but about ensuring that each indicator has a tangible impact on the quality of education, research, and community service. According to him, strong and accountable governance is a fundamental prerequisite for enhancing the reputation and competitiveness of higher education institutions.(www.upnvj.ac.id)
