EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – The implementation of the first day of the 2026 Computer-Based Written Examination for National Selection Based on Tests (UTBK-SNBT) at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ) proceeded in an orderly and smooth manner. The activity began with a briefing delivered by the Rector of UPNVJ, Prof. Anter Venus, held at Nusantara Room 1, Rectorate Building of UPNVJ, on Tuesday (April 21).
The briefing was conducted at 05:30 WIB and was attended by the Head of the UTBK-SNBT Central Committee of UPNVJ, Field Coordinators, Location Supervisors, as well as Invigilators directly involved in the examination process.
In his remarks, the Rector of UPNVJ emphasized that all parties involved in the implementation of UTBK-SNBT hold highly crucial roles. He expressed his appreciation for the readiness of the committee, which had worked optimally in preparing for the examination.
“All aspects of UTBK-SNBT at UPN Veteran Jakarta, ranging from the committee and location supervisors to the invigilators, carry crucial responsibilities. The committee has made excellent preparations, and the invigilators are responsible for ensuring that the UTBK implementation at UPNVJ runs in accordance with the established procedures and regulations,” stated Prof. Anter Venus.
Furthermore, the Rector stressed that the responsibilities entrusted do not merely involve ensuring the technical smoothness of the examination, but also constitute part of a national mandate to guarantee equitable access to education for all participants.
“Our duty is not only to supervise the implementation, but more importantly to carry out the mandate of the state. We must ensure that all participants have equal quality and equal rights to access education. UTBK serves as a gateway to fair educational access for all,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Head of the UTBK-SNBT Central Committee of UPNVJ, Dr. Henry Binsar Sitorus, who also serves as Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at UPNVJ, stated that the entire series of UTBK-SNBT implementation at UPNVJ had been thoroughly prepared, in terms of infrastructure, systems, and human resources.
“We ensure that all UTBK-SNBT processes at UPNVJ are conducted in accordance with nationally established standard operating procedures. Coordination among teams continues to be strengthened so that each examination session can proceed safely, orderly, and smoothly,” he said.
He also added that the institution is committed to maintaining the integrity and quality of the examination process, so that UTBK-SNBT results can serve as a fair and accountable basis for selection for all participants.
