
EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – Outstanding achievements have once again been demonstrated by students of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) through the Pencak Silat Student Activity Unit “Veteran” Jakarta (PSVJ), which successfully dominated the 14th Pakubumi Open Championship in 2026.
In the championship, PSVJ recorded an impressive accomplishment by securing 23 gold medals and 13 silver medals, earning the title of 2nd Overall Champion. In addition, the team’s coach was recognized with the 3rd Best Coach award.
Among these achievements, FISIP UPNVJ students contributed significantly by winning 6 gold medals and 1 silver medal, as follows:

The Dean of FISIP expressed great pride in the remarkable achievements attained by its students through the Pencak Silat Student Club. Each time they compete, the team consistently returns with numerous medals, demonstrating strong consistency, dedication, and a high fighting spirit.
“The consistent achievements demonstrated by the Pencak Silat Student Club are truly commendable. This success is not only for the team but also a source of pride for the university,” the Dean stated.
