
EduAsiaNews, Semarang – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Diponegoro University and the Central Java Office of Communication, Informatics, and Digital Affairs (Diskomdigi) of Central Java Province officially entered into a cooperation agreement signed on Friday (20/2/2026) at Gradhika Bhakti Praja, Semarang. This collaboration represents a strategic step toward advancing the publication of regional development information while simultaneously supporting the enhancement of graduate quality through the active engagement of the academic community in public and digital spheres.
The agreement was signed by Agung Hariyadi, Head of Diskomdigi Central Java, and Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin, Dean of FISIP UNDIP, and was witnessed by Ahmad Luthfi, Governor of Central Java, along with other provincial leaders. The signing coincided with the Collaborative Award 2026 organized by the provincial government. The presence of regional officials and academics underscored that this partnership constitutes a concrete manifestation of synergy between higher education institutions and regional government in promoting development through effective communication.
Through this cooperation, FISIP UNDIP students will have the opportunity to undertake professional internships within government institutions, participate in joint research initiatives, and contribute to the production and dissemination of development-related publication content. Such involvement is expected not only to enrich students’ practical experience but also to reinforce FISIP’s role within a knowledge ecosystem that is responsive to societal needs.
The collaboration between FISIP UNDIP and Diskomdigi Central Java reflects the shared commitment of both parties to strengthening public communication and development publication through adaptive approaches in the digital era.
