EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – The Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of UPN “Veteran” Jakarta organized the event titled “Ramadan Sharing with Dharma Wanita: Strengthening Bonds and Spreading Care with Orphaned Children within the UPN ‘Veteran’ Jakarta Community” on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 12:30 PM (WIB), at the Mosque of the UPN Meruyung Complex. The event was held to enliven the holy month of Ramadan, strengthen social awareness, and foster closer ties within the campus community. DWP UPNVJ is part of the extended UPNVJ family and actively carries out social and empowerment programs within the university environment.

The event was attended by members of Dharma Wanita Persatuan UPNVJ together with orphaned children from within the UPNVJ community. This occasion was expected to serve as a space for togetherness that not only reinforces religious values during the month of Ramadan but also strengthens the spirit of sharing and compassion among members of the community.

Through this program, DWP UPNVJ aims to present activities that generate social impact while also strengthening the sense of family within the university environment. The presence of the orphaned children at the event represents an important effort to foster empathy, care, and solidarity, in line with the role of DWP as a strategic partner in building a caring and inclusive campus environment. The social role of DWP UPNVJ has previously been reflected in various community activities and initiatives to strengthen solidarity within the university.

In addition to serving as a form of social worship during the holy month of Ramadan, this activity is also expected to strengthen the relationship between the UPNVJ community and the society surrounding the campus. The spirit of sharing fostered through this event aligns with UPNVJ’s commitment as a higher education institution that upholds the values of humanity, togetherness, and social contribution as integral parts of campus life.

In her remarks, Nantia Rena Venus, Chairperson of DWP UPNVJ, emphasized the importance of synergy among all elements within the university.
“DWP UPNVJ is one of the integral parts supporting the advancement of the institution and strengthening the values of togetherness. In this context, the Ramadan Sharing activity reflects that the social programs carried out by the extended UPNVJ family not only strengthen internal solidarity but also expand the benefits of the campus to the surrounding community,” she stated.(www.upnvj.ac.id)
