
EduAsiaNews, Denpasar – The Forum Persaudaraan Mahasiswa Hindu Dharma Universitas Udayana (FPMHD Unud) the 15th Dharma Santi Penyepian (DSP XV) for Caka Year 1948 at the Nusantara Hall, Agrocomplex Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, on March 28–29, 2026. The event carried the theme “Dharmodaya Santikarana,” serving as a momentum for revitalizing Dharma values as a means of realizing peace and harmony.
The Chairperson of the Committee, Ni Luh Putu Sudarini, stated in her report that this activity was organized as part of the commemoration of Nyepi, as well as a momentum to foster harmonious relationships among Hindus in Bali. It also serves as a platform to strengthen bonds of brotherhood and develop the potential of the younger generation. Through this DSP activity, it is expected that the essence of Penyepian can become the foundation for creating peace, togetherness, and harmony among Hindus, facilitated through competitions and the implementation of Dharma Tula as a space for reflection and deepening the values of Dharma.
The DSP XV competitions were participated in by 123 contestants across four categories: masatua (21 participants), poetry recitation (ngewacen puisi, 27 participants), ogoh-ogoh sketch competition (27 participants), and digital poster competition (48 participants).
The Coordinator of FPMHD Unud, Ni Putu Wahyuni Kencana Dewi, explained that this activity is part of the organization’s work program in the field of bina dharma, which focuses on religious and spiritual development. She expressed hope that the event would generate positive outcomes for all participants.
The Advisor of FPMHD Unud, I Putu Sudiarta, S.P., M.Si., Ph.D., emphasized that FPMHD should not be limited to routine internal activities, but should also actively contribute to society in preserving Bali’s cultural heritage. He further expressed hope that the organization’s role would continue to expand beyond campus and have a broader impact on the community while enhancing social awareness among Hindus.
The Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya, representing the Rector of Universitas Udayana, conveyed appreciation for FPMHD Unud’s consistency in organizing Dharma Santi for 15 consecutive years. He expressed hope that the forum would not only serve as a gathering place for Hindu students but also become a driving force for religious moderation at Universitas Udayana.
