EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – Congratulations! FISIP UPNVJ Lecturers Appointed as Competency Assessment Team for Public Relations Officers at the Ministry of Communication and Digitalization 2026
Two lecturers from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ), Yani Hendrayani, Ph.D., and Dr. Kusumajanti, M.Si., have been officially appointed as the Competency Assessment Team for Functional Positions of Public Relations Officers (JFPH) for 2026 by the Ministry of Communication and Digitalization of the Republic of Indonesia.
This appointment followed a selection process conducted by the Directorate of Institutional Communication Partnerships and Public Relations, under the Directorate General of Public Communication and Media, Ministry of Communication and Digitalization RI.
The registration for prospective assessors was open from December 19, 2025, to January 19, 2026, targeting academics, practitioners, and experienced public relations officers residing in the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek). The results were officially announced on March 11, 2026, confirming that Yani Hendrayani and Kusumajanti successfully passed the selection and were appointed as assessors. This appointment is formalized in the Decree of the Director General of Public Communication and Media, Ministry of Communication, 2026.
The selection aimed to recruit professionals capable of maintaining competency standards and professionalism in government public relations. The appointed assessors play a strategic role in ensuring the quality of human resources for public relations officers across Indonesia.
As members of the assessment team, Yani Hendrayani and Kusumajanti will evaluate technical, conceptual, and behavioral competencies of public relations officers during their promotion processes. They will also ensure that public information service standards and communication management adhere to applicable regulations.
The Dean of FISIP UPNVJ expressed pride and appreciation for this achievement:
