EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ) has established a policy on the regulation and administration of student vehicle parking through Circular Letter Number 32 of 2026. This policy forms part of the University’s efforts to optimize the management of state assets and to enhance orderliness and comfort within the campus environment.

In its implementation, parking management within UPNVJ is carried out by the University’s official partner, PT Sky Parking Utama, through the adoption of a modern parking management system. This system includes the recording of vehicle entry and exit times, as well as insurance protection to strengthen service security standards.

All parking transactions are conducted on a cashless basis using subscription/member cards, registered bank-issued electronic money cards, or available digital wallets, in support of professional and accountable governance of academic support services.

The parking service fees consist of an initial subscription card issuance fee of IDR 20,000 and monthly subscription rates of IDR 35,000 for motorcycles and IDR 50,000 for cars. For those who do not opt for the subscription system, a per-visit tariff of IDR 2,000 for motorcycles and IDR 5,000 for cars applies. The subscription card is valid for one calendar month and may be renewed for subsequent months.

Registration for the parking card is conducted online via the link https://bit.ly/formparkirmahasiswa
, followed by an administrative process scheduled from 18–24 February 2026 at the Plaza Soemari, Rectorate Building of UPNVJ, from 09:00 to 15:30 WIB. The automated gate parking system will be implemented starting 1 March 2026 following a period of socialization and trial implementation.

Expansion of UPNVJ Parking Areas

In addition to modernizing its parking management system, UPNVJ has undertaken strategic measures to expand parking capacity. This initiative aims to improve convenience and accommodate the needs of the academic community and campus visitors.

Several parking locations that have been prepared or are currently under preparation include:

UPNVJ-owned land on Jalan Rangu, Pangkalan Jati, currently undergoing site clearing and projected to accommodate approximately 1,000 motorcycles.

The rear campus area near Beska Bean, with an estimated capacity of approximately 1,500 two- and four-wheeled vehicles. This area is managed by a separate party, with tariffs determined according to the respective operator’s policy.

The Limo parking area (lower section), designated specifically for two-wheeled vehicles.

The utilization of parking areas at Balitbang and Masjid Al-Hijrah Dislitbang, with tariff systems following the regulations of each respective management authority.

Through this policy, UPNVJ seeks to foster a more integrated and transparent parking management system that supports a conducive academic environment across the campus.(www.upnvj.ac.id)
