EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – The 32nd anniversary celebration of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) came alive with musical performances, artistic showcases and student creativity competitions on Saturday, Oct. 24, at UPNVJ’s ceremonial field.
Featuring special performances by Pemuja Pesta and The Lantis, the event was part of FISIP UPNVJ’s anniversary celebrations, held under the theme “Nexus of Connectivity: Connecting People, Ideas, and Impact.”
Beyond entertainment, the celebration provided a platform for students to express themselves and showcase their talents while strengthening bonds across the academic community through art and music.
The entertainment program opened with a dance performance by FISIP UPNVJ students, followed by a violin performance that added variety to the artistic showcases at this year’s anniversary celebration.
The festivities continued with a dance competition and a dance challenge sponsored by O’Live Milk. These interactive activities gave students and visitors an opportunity to participate directly in the celebrations.
One of the highlights was a band competition featuring nine bands. The contest gave participants a platform to showcase their musical abilities while developing their creativity and confidence through live performances.
The atmosphere grew even livelier with performances by guest stars Pemuja Pesta and The Lantis, who entertained visitors throughout the celebration.
The two music acts were part of the organizing committee’s efforts to create a memorable anniversary experience for students and the wider FISIP UPNVJ community.
In addition to the artistic and musical performances, the event received support from several partners, including iNews as both sponsor and media partner, BNI and O’Live Milk.
A total of 16 vendors also set up booths at the venue, including food vendors offering a variety of culinary options for visitors.
Surfian Rahmat AP., S.I.P., M.Si., chair of the committee for FISIP UPNVJ’s 32nd anniversary celebration, expressed his appreciation to everyone who supported the event, from the organizing committee and partners to the sponsors.
“This year’s anniversary celebration has been even livelier thanks to iNews Media as our sponsor and media partner. We also have 16 vendors, including BNI. Thank you for your cooperation and collaboration,” Surfian said.
He noted that support and collaboration from various parties were essential to creating a celebration that was not only festive but also strengthened relationships among the faculty, students and external partners.
Through a combination of artistic performances, music competitions and student-centered entertainment, FISIP UPNVJ hopes the 32nd anniversary celebration will foster creativity, solidarity and a stronger sense of community.
