EduAsiaNews, Pontianak — Tanjungpura University (UNTAN) held its 2026 Management Review Meeting (RTM) at the auditorium of UNTAN’s Institute for Quality Assurance and Learning Development (LPMPP) on Thursday (Sept. 17, 2026). The meeting was part of the university’s efforts to evaluate its performance while strengthening continuous quality assurance.
UNTAN Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Sy. Hasyim Azizurahman represented the rector and officially opened the meeting. The RTM served as a forum for university leaders, faculties, study programs and quality assurance units to discuss evaluation findings and determine follow-up measures for quality management across the university.
The meeting was part of the PPEPP cycle — establishing, implementing, evaluating, controlling and improving quality standards. In addition to serving as an annual evaluation, the forum was also part of UNTAN’s preparations for various external quality assessments, including the accreditation of study programs and the institution as a whole.
The main agenda featured presentations on the findings of the Internal Quality Audit (AMI), achievements against quality standards and follow-up measures from the previous RTM, presented by Elvi Rusmiyanto PW and Erlinda Yurisintae.
The presentations were followed by discussions on various findings and the formulation of recommendations for improvement. The results of the discussions were incorporated into the RTM decisions, which are expected to be followed up with concrete measures by the relevant units.
The 2026 RTM was attended by university leaders, deans, faculty academic officials, postgraduate program administrators, as well as representatives of university institutes, bureaus, centers and academic support units.
Through the 2026 RTM, UNTAN sought not only to map its quality achievements but also to ensure that evaluation findings serve as a basis for determining measures to continuously improve the university’s quality standards.
