EduAsiaNews, Singapore—the university’s largest recruitment event of the semester—will be held off campus at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, Halls 401 and 402, on September 23, 2026. Under the theme “Beyond Campus, Into Your Future,” the flagship event will connect students with more than 200 companies across over 20 industry sectors.
Career preparation begins well before the fair and continues after the event concludes. From campus pop-ups and career workshops to the Virtual Global Fair and on-site interviews, here are six activities students can take part in throughout the NUS Career Fest programme organized by the NUS Centre for Future-ready Graduates (CFG).
1. Receive Career Guidance through Campus Pop-Ups
In the weeks leading up to NUS Career Fest, students can meet with CFG Career Advisors through campus pop-ups to learn more about career development resources and schedule one-on-one career consultations ahead of the fair.
The CFG team will be available at the following locations:
- Faculty of Law: August 28, 12:00–2:00 p.m., East Core Building
- Faculty of Science: September 3, 12:00–2:00 p.m., Frontier
- School of Computing: September 9, 12:00–2:00 p.m., The Terrace
- College of Design and Engineering: September 15, 12:00–2:00 p.m., outside LT6
Students can also meet the CFG team and selected companies at the YIH Back to School Pop-Up on August 26, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Level 2 of NUS Yusof Ishak House, outside Wild Skew.
2. Prepare for the Recruitment Process through Workshops
Career preparation will continue through a series of workshops held before and after the career fair.
- Pre-fair workshops (August 5–September 21): Topics include AI-powered professional personal branding, consulting case studies, and careers in quantitative finance.
- Post-fair workshops (September 25–October 16): Students will have opportunities to further develop their skills, covering areas such as job-search strategies, assessment centre preparation, managing job offers, and salary negotiation.
3. Explore International Opportunities through the Virtual Global Fair
Students seeking career opportunities outside Singapore or looking to gain broader international experience can connect with global companies offering internship and graduate opportunities through the Virtual Global Fair, taking place from September 14 to 21.
4. Meet Employers and Attend On-Site Interviews
This year’s NUS Career Fest will feature on-site interviews, with 20 companies conducting interviews directly at the exhibition venue. This enables students to turn initial conversations with employers into formal job interviews without having to leave the event.
Students can also explore a wide range of career pathways offered by more than 200 companies across over 20 industry sectors, including finance, AI and technology, healthcare, engineering, consumer goods, and the public sector.
5. Receive Career Advice and Professional Headshots
Students can further enhance their job application skills by visiting the Career Advisory Express booth, where CFG Career Advisors will provide guidance before students meet prospective employers. A complimentary professional photography studio will also be available, allowing students to obtain professional profile photographs for use on LinkedIn and other professional networking platforms.
6. Continue Exploring Opportunities after NUS Career Fest
Career preparation does not end when NUS Career Fest concludes. Students are encouraged to maintain their momentum throughout the semester by consulting CFG Career Advisors and participating in various recruitment activities.
These activities provide students with opportunities to build professional networks, refine their job applications, and explore diverse career pathways as they pursue internship and employment opportunities.
On-campus recruitment activities, hackathons, and case competitions are among the career development opportunities offered throughout the academic year.
