
EduAsiaNews, Surakarta — Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta conferred degrees upon 593 graduates during its Fourth Graduation Ceremony of 2026. The commencement ceremony was held at the G.P.H. Haryo Mataram Auditorium on Saturday, May 30, 2026.
The Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Hartono, dr., M.Si., extended his congratulations to the 593 graduates for successfully completing their studies at UNS. He also welcomed them as members of the UNS Alumni Association (IKA UNS).
“To date, IKA UNS has grown to include 256,844 alumni who are serving in various government institutions and private organizations, both domestically and internationally,” Prof. Hartono stated.
In her report, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Research, Prof. Dr. Fitria Rahmawati, S.Si., M.Si., highlighted several graduates who achieved outstanding academic distinctions. Their accomplishments were reflected in earning recognition as the fastest and youngest graduates at their respective levels of study.
Among the graduates participating in the ceremony was one international student, Mahmoud Diallo, a Law student from Guinea.
Several graduates were recognized for their exceptional academic achievements. At the Doctoral Program level, Dwi Yuniasih Saputri from the Educational Sciences Study Program was named both the fastest and youngest doctoral graduate, completing her studies in 3 years and 6 months at the age of 31 years and 7 months.
In the Master’s Program, the title of fastest graduate was awarded to Imam Mahdi from the Geography Education Study Program, who completed his studies in 1 year and 6 months. Meanwhile, the youngest master’s graduate was Asri Kamila Ramadhani from the Indonesian Language Education Study Program, graduating at the age of 24 years and 2 months.
At the Undergraduate Program level, Desi Setiowati from the Sports Coaching Education Study Program earned the distinction of fastest graduate with a study period of 3 years and 5 months. The youngest undergraduate graduate was Aditya Kurnia Putra from the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, who graduated at the age of 20 years and 6 months.
For the Applied Bachelor’s Program, Eka Aprelia Wulandari from the Demography and Civil Registration Study Program was recognized as the fastest graduate, completing her studies in 4 years and 6 months. The youngest graduate at this level was Nanda Nurul Vidyatika, from the same study program, who graduated at the age of 22 years and 9 months.
Meanwhile, in the Diploma III Program, Edwina Putri Amadea from the Visual Communication Design Study Program was named the fastest graduate after completing her studies in exactly three years. The title of youngest graduate was awarded to Kukuh Hasan Wira Wisuda from the Agribusiness Study Program, who graduated at the age of 21 years and 2 months.
Through this graduation ceremony, UNS once again celebrated academic excellence while reaffirming its commitment to producing graduates who are ready to contribute meaningfully to society, both nationally and globally.
