EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – The Industrial Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ), held an online meeting via Zoom with PT Rusli Vinilon Sakti to explore strategic collaboration opportunities. This activity served as an initial step to strengthen the link and match between academia and the national manufacturing industry, particularly in the fields of production systems, operations management, and supply chain efficiency.
The meeting was attended by the Coordinator of the Industrial Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering UPNVJ, Ir. Nur Fajriah, S.T., M.T., accompanied by Dr. Alina Cynthia Dewi, S.Si., M.T., and the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, Dr. Nanang Alamsyah, S.T., M.T. From the company’s side, the discussion was joined by the Recruitment Officer of PT Rusli Vinilon Sakti.
Several potential collaboration opportunities were discussed, including Field Work Practice (PKL), Independent Internships for students, joint research, community service programs, and the participation of industry practitioners as guest lecturers. This collaboration is expected to provide mutual benefits: students gain hands-on experience, while the industry receives support in the form of applied research from academics.
PT Rusli Vinilon Sakti, a manufacturing company specializing in PVC and PE piping systems established in the 1970s under the Vinilon brand, operates large-scale production facilities and a nationwide distribution network. Its extensive experience in manufacturing system management is highly relevant to the Industrial Engineering curriculum.
