EduAsiaNews, Jakarta — The Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP), through its Deputy for Education and Training, officially opened the Pancasila Ideology Development Education and Training Program (PIP), specifically designed for Pancasila Education lecturers, Cohort IV. The program, held from 3 to 5 February 2026, was officially inaugurated by the Head of BPIP, Yudian Wahyudi, at Hotel Santika Hayam Wuruk, Jakarta.

The PIP training program is designed as a platform to strengthen lecturers’ capacity in aligning their understanding, methods, and learning strategies for teaching Pancasila values within higher education institutions. This program underscores the importance of contextual Pancasila instruction that is adaptive to contemporary dynamics while remaining firmly grounded in the fundamental values of the nation.

A total of 88 participants took part in the program, representing 14 public and private universities in the Jakarta area. The participants are lecturers responsible for teaching Pancasila Education courses and play a strategic role as the frontline agents in the internalization of the nation’s ideological values on campus.

On the occasion, the Head of the Center for Education and Learning Development (BP3) of Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), Prof. Johansyah Lubis, representing the Rector of UNJ, stated that UNJ demonstrates a strong commitment to supporting the strengthening of Pancasila ideology in higher education.

“UNJ has sent the largest delegation to this program, consisting of 33 Pancasila Education lecturers from various faculties. This reflects UNJ’s tangible commitment to strengthening character education and national ideology among students,” he stated.

Furthermore, the Head of BPIP, Prof. Yudian, emphasized that lecturers play a key role in shaping students’ character as future leaders of the nation. Through this PIP training program, lecturers are expected not only to master the material conceptually but also to deliver Pancasila learning in a creative, reflective, and relevant manner that resonates with the realities of the younger generation.

This program forms part of BPIP’s ongoing efforts in collaboration with higher education institutions, including BP3 UNJ, to strengthen the Pancasila education ecosystem oriented toward reinforcing national values, integrity, and social responsibility within the academic environment.
