EduAsiaNews, Jakarta – The Institute for Quality Assurance and Learning Development (LPMPP) of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) commenced the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year with a series of Socialization Roadshows introducing the new features of the Learning Process Information System (SIMPEL), conducted from January 22 to 30, 2026 across all faculties. This initiative reflects LPMPP’s commitment to encouraging the optimal utilization of SIMPEL as the primary digital-based support system for managing the learning process.

Participants received comprehensive technical explanations from Dr. Ns. Arief Wahyudi Jadmiko, M.Kep., M.Pd.Ked., Head of the Center for Learning Development at LPMPP UPNVJ, together with Ade Hikmah Tiana, M.Kom. In his presentation, he emphasized the importance of alignment among Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs), learning methods, and assessment instruments to ensure that the learning and evaluation processes are systematic, measurable, and well documented through SIMPEL.

In his remarks, Arief Wahyudi Jadmiko stated that SIMPEL is not merely an administrative platform but a system with a high level of accountability. “SIMPEL is not just an administrative platform; it is an integrated system that ensures transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in learning quality. Through the optimization of Semester Learning Plans (RPS), question bank management, course portfolios, as well as the documentation of attendance and grades, we aim to facilitate lecturers in monitoring, tracking, and reporting the entire learning process. Going forward, SIMPEL will continue to be developed with features for question review, learning reflection, and comprehensive final project management. This is our strategic step toward realizing more comprehensive digital academic governance and supporting quality assurance throughout the UPNVJ environment,” he explained.

Furthermore, participants were equipped with an understanding of the mechanisms for uploading, managing, and reviewing question banks, as well as the validation workflow as part of assessment quality control. The presentation also covered the management of course portfolios fully integrated within SIMPEL, thereby enabling easier monitoring and reporting of learning activities with proper documentation.

With these new features, SIMPEL further strengthens its role as a platform for data integration, process transparency, and accountability in the implementation of digital-based learning.(www.upnvj.ac.id)
