The event was facilitated by representatives of UPNVJ’s Public Relations Office, Anisa Triselia and Ramzi Zainal Abidin, and was attended by 85 participants consisting of students and their parents.
The socialization activity aimed to broaden access to information regarding higher education opportunities, including international programs such as student exchange initiatives with foreign students from partner countries. This initiative was intended to assist prospective students in making well-informed decisions amid the increasingly competitive admission process to state universities.
All participants appeared attentive and enthusiastic throughout the session, particularly during the presentation on UPNVJ’s international programs, including student exchange schemes that have become part of UPNVJ’s collaborations with several partner countries.
One of the students of MA Darul Marhamah, Aliya, expressed her enthusiasm and interest after participating in the socialization activity. She stated that she felt fortunate to receive a direct explanation about UPNVJ and conveyed her interest in pursuing her higher education in the Accounting Study Program at UPNVJ. According to her, the information presented was clear and comprehensive, helping her determine her choice of university and strengthening her intention to study at UPNVJ.
In addition to the students, the activity also received positive responses from parents. Rafiyanti, one of the students’ parents, expressed her hope that her child would be able to continue her studies in the Nursing Study Program at UPNVJ.
“Alhamdulillah, the explanations provided by the Public Relations representatives were very clear. I can now understand the various admission pathways available to enter UPNVJ. In addition, I was able to learn about the tuition fees for each pathway, which gives me a clearer picture for future planning in accordance with my child’s aspirations,” Rafiyanti stated when interviewed by the UPNVJ Public Relations Team.
Through this socialization activity, UPNVJ hopes to provide prospective students and parents with a better understanding of admission pathways, study programs, and available international opportunities, thereby assisting them in making appropriate higher education choices.
